1. Depends, could be a time thing or points
2. Kind of, go to options in the map selection menu, choose heroes. Now change it to points, put the points to 1 (so after 1 point you get the hero). Now finally change the bottom option to “Always” so the hero is always selectable.
PS- note that this applies to the other side as well
3. the mode is a strategic tone to the Bsattlefront gameplay. You choose planets to conquer and along the way you buy new classes and upgrades (Heroes, sabotaged enemy vehicles, etc)
I hope that helped you out

1. In a campaign, you can only be a hero at a certain time, like after a certain objective has been accomplished or remaining alive for a certain amount of time. This is not true for Instant Action (in fact, you can designate the requirements to become a hero by time or kills).
2. No, but you can change the requirements to become a Hero after one second of gameplay. Change the Hero requirements to be set by “Time.” For the time, choose one second.
3. In Galactic Conquest, two players face off (either you versus a human player or you versus the computer). The point is to conquer the galaxy. The first to do so wins. During a turn, you can do various things, such as move a fleet and purchase boosts or fleets. (I recommend not buying fleets if you’re a good player at this video game.) Conquer all your enemies’ planets to win!
4. To earn medals, you must achieve certain accomplishments within one life. For example, if you are earning the Gunslinger medal for the fourth time, you will need to secure six kills with a Blaster Pistol in a single life. There are different requirements for different medals. Earning the medal earns you an award weapon or boost to be used during the life in which you earned the medal (unless it’s the first, second, third, or fourth time you’re earning that medal). If you earn enough medals and achieve Elite status for that medal, the requirements will be lowered. For example, if you have Elite status or above for the Gunslinger medal, then you will only need four kills for a Gunslinger. If you achieve Legendary status (sixty-four medals), the award will be permanently available to you.
